The Abu Dhabi office was opened after a long history of Zeidler project work in the Middle East. Previous work in the region by Zeidler includes thousands of square meters of mixed-use properties working with various developers including Emaar. Ongoing projects work ranges from master plans to residential and office towers in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen. The Zeidler office of locally experienced architects and technical staff offer clients increased production capabilities. Amir Vafa, who has been with the firm over 13 years, is the Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi office. Amir brings his previous experience with the design and management of large retail, entertainment and mixed-use international projects from leading the Beijing office as the Director of Design and Chief Representative of Zeidler in the Beijing office from 2004 to 2007 to his new role as Managing Director in Abu Dhabi.
